I just spent this past weekend at The Lodge on Serenity Cove. It was definitely a relaxing weekend from the hustle and bustle of the metroplex. Nice clean pool. The restaurant food was fabulous. It is a slower paced laid back atmosphere than the city so sit back, relax, and enjoy your company. Good food takes time to prepare. The view of the lake from the porch at sunset was beautiful. We had the large cabin as we had a large group. It was rustic, had clean towels and linens. My bed was comfortable. You could tell they were still working on some updates to our cabin. Over all the price was reasonable. The owners and staff were friendly and personable. I definitely plan to return.
